Learn the Art Of Meditation.

 

Introduction 

 

Before you begin this course in the art of meditation we would like to ask you two questions:

Have you ever had the experience of inner happiness and peace of mind?

Have you ever experienced peacelessness?

 

Before we started to meditate we had experienced inner happiness on one or two occasions. In fact they were so few we could count them.
Whereas, we could easily and readily identify with peacelessness
.

We were in search of inner happiness and peace of mind and through practicing meditation have come to realise that these are not givens but are a result of our efforts. The more we meditate the more peaceful and happy and energised we feel.

Therefore our aim in this e-book is to give you the ingredients to reconnect with that state of peacefulness, happiness and full of energy. The ingredients that you can put together to enable you to reconnect with your true self and therefore get the most out of your life.

You see you don’t have to learn how to meditate. You have to relearn. You knew how to get the best out of yourself. You knew how to connect with your true self. You have just forgotten. Other things have gotten in the way.  

In order to relearn and get the best out of yourself you just need to refocus on who you are and develop the power of concentration.

When you meditate daily you cannot help but be successful. Not only do you feel good, your ability to concentrate increases and you quickly become aware of how your thoughts stop you achieving what you want. You quickly become aware that if you concentrate on the correct thoughts you get great benefits.

Your thoughts play an important part in your life and meditation helps you to concentrate on those that bring you what you want in life.

Every one of us has two essential parts to our lives.

One wants us to evolve and develop and the other wants to pull us back, keep us in “our place”. Our lives are ruled by which of these we choose. Both sides of us are trying to gain control. One wins one day and the other the next.

It is always our thoughts that determine the result.

When given an opportunity one person thinks "I will do it," and gets on with it. Whilst another falls into the trap of procrastination and while they are still thinking about it someone else seizes the opportunity.

One person accepts what is happening to them and gets on with life whereas another complains of what might have been.
If only it was another time…………If only they had explained it properly……………….if only it didn’t cost so much…………….if only I lived nearer …….. if only s/he had loved me………etc etc etc.

Deep down we have each decided to follow one or another path. By following the art of meditation you have elected to follow the path to success.

There are many different ways and methods to meditate as we have shown in our other e-book, The Happiness Book. But here we want to focus on what works for us. A simple method that you can do anywhere, in a traffic jam, standing at a bus stop, waiting for a train, sitting on a bus or train. Whilst having your hair cut. When sitting at your desk. Wherever you are you can follow this method to easily and quickly calm yourself and make you feel great.

The secret to success is within you. Like everything in life the more passionate you are about finding the true you. The more passionate you are about wanting to feel peaceful, happy and loving. The more you want to master the art of meditation the more successful you will be.

The first essential quality for success is the desire to do or to be something. The next thing is to learn how to do it; the next is to put it into action.
